1. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Club ("the Club", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you buy squares in this raffle. The raffle runs on ReverseDraw, a platform provided by Fusshaus Pty Ltd, which collects and stores the information for the Club. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Your contact details when you buy a square: your name, email address and mobile number.
Your squares: the square numbers you choose and when you reserved and bought them.
Limited technical information: if a page error occurs, we may record a short error message, the page address and your browser type to fix the fault. We don't use this to identify you.
Payment is handled by Square. We don't collect or store your card or bank details; Square processes them directly.

How we use it

To reserve and sell you your squares.
To run the draw, and to contact you about your purchase and, if you win, your prize.
To keep the raffle records the law requires.
To detect and prevent fraud and duplicate or invalid entries.

We need these details to sell you a square. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Fusshaus Pty Ltd (ACN 699 162 911), which runs the ReverseDraw platform for the Club. It stores and processes these records for the Club and can access them to give technical support.
Supabase: database hosting, in Sydney.
Vercel: website hosting.
Square: payment processing, on the Club's own account.
The public: your name may show on the board next to your square, and the square numbers and names of winners are published with the results.

Our database is hosted in Sydney. Our website host may process data in the United States, and Square may process payment data overseas. We use providers with their own privacy and security protections, and we stay responsible for how they handle your information.

How we store and protect it

Your records are kept in a secured database. Only authorised Club people, and the platform's support staff when needed, can see them. Your email address and mobile number are never shown publicly. Your name, as you enter it, may show on the public board next to your square, the way it would on a paper board, so enter a name you're happy to have shown.

How long we keep it

We keep raffle records, including buyer details, for 7 years after the draw, because some Australian raffle laws require records to be kept that long. Then we delete them.

Cookies and local storage

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may save your in-progress purchase form and square selection on your own device ("local storage") so a refresh doesn't lose them. It's cleared after a short time and when your purchase is submitted.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing —. We'll respond within 30 days. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first so we can put it right; we'll acknowledge a complaint within 5 business days. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top.

2. Terms of Service

These Terms cover your use of this raffle website and your purchase of raffle tickets ("squares"). By using the site or buying a square, you agree to these Terms and to the Raffle Terms in section 3.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to buy a square.
You must be in Australia and able to receive a prize lawfully.

Tickets, pricing and payment

Squares are AUD $— each. There are — squares in total.
Choosing squares and submitting your details reserves them for a limited time while you pay through Square.
If you don't finish paying within that time, your squares are released for others to buy.
A purchase is confirmed once payment is received and the square shows as sold. A reservation alone isn't an entry.
Squares bought in person (cash or EFTPOS) may also be recorded on the board by the Club.

Refunds and cancellations

Raffle tickets are generally non-refundable once bought, except where the Australian Consumer Law or another law requires a refund, or where you were charged in error. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded. If you think you were charged in error, contact —.

Acceptable use

Don't try to interfere with, probe or disrupt the website, its database or the payment process.
Don't enter false, offensive or impersonating names. The Club may remove or refuse any entry that breaks these Terms.

Availability and accuracy

The board is kept as accurate as reasonably possible, but it may not update instantly and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside the Club's or the platform's control. The site is provided "as is"; neither the Club nor the platform guarantees it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, and subject to any consumer guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, the Club isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss from your use of the site. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the squares concerned.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or territory where the Club is based, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.

3. Raffle Terms

This is a fundraising raffle conducted by the Club. It is subject to the regulator's conditions, which prevail over these Terms where they differ.

Winners and prize claims

Winners are announced at the draw and contacted by email or phone within 7 days. Results are published on this website after the draw.
Prizes will be handed over or paid within 28 days of the draw.
Please give accurate contact details. Unclaimed prizes are dealt with as the regulator requires.

Who runs the platform

This raffle runs on ReverseDraw, an online platform provided by Fusshaus Pty Ltd (ACN 699 162 911). The Club pays Fusshaus an annual subscription. Fusshaus gets no share of ticket sales and never holds ticket money.
